Refund, Payment & Warranty Policy
Last Updated: May 20, 2026
1. Platform Ownership, Communication & Liability Disclaimer
Motronx is a technology platform developed and operated by Edone Solutions, a software development and technology services company. Edone Solutions is not a vehicle repair, servicing, maintenance, towing, or workshop operating company and does not directly perform mechanical repairs or maintenance services.
Motronx provides a digital platform that connects customers with independent mechanics, service providers, and partner workshops.
Motronx shall provide customer support, dispute resolution assistance, and service coordination only for bookings where payments are processed through the Motronx platform and all service-related communications, approvals, and transactions are conducted through Motronx's official channels.
If a customer chooses to communicate directly with a mechanic or service provider outside the Motronx platform, makes direct payments, negotiates pricing independently, approves additional work directly, or enters into any separate arrangement with a mechanic or service provider, such interactions shall be deemed outside the scope of Motronx services.
In such circumstances, the mechanic, workshop, or service provider shall be solely responsible for service quality, workmanship, warranties, pricing disputes, refunds, damages, delays, customer complaints, and all obligations arising from the service. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Motronx and Edone Solutions shall not be liable for any dispute, loss, damage, claim, or service-related issue arising from direct dealings between customers and mechanics or service providers outside the Motronx platform.
2. Cancellation & Visiting Fee Rules
Bookings can be cancelled without any penalty before a mechanic is assigned or dispatched.
If a booking is cancelled after a mechanic has been dispatched and arrives at your doorstep or pickup location, a mandatory ₹500 visiting/cancellation fee applies to compensate for logistics and travel time.
If a mechanic conducts a vehicle diagnosis/inspection and you choose not to proceed with repairs, the inspection charge is mandatory and non-refundable.
3. Online Payment Refunds & Timelines
If an online prepaid order is cancelled within permitted rules, refunds are processed to your original payment method (minus visiting fees if dispatched). Approved refunds typically take 5–7 business days to reflect in your account.
4. Payment Methods & Invoicing
Motronx supports online payments via Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking, UPI, and digital wallets, as well as Cash on Delivery (COD) post-inspection. Digital invoices are issued via email/SMS upon service completion. All prices include applicable GST unless noted otherwise.
5. 30-Day Service Warranty & Parts Terms
The assigned mechanic or service partner provides a standard 30-day labor and service warranty on eligible repairs. Motronx will assist customers in coordinating warranty claims and dispute resolution but is not the direct provider of repair services.
Replaced parts carry respective Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM/OES) warranties. Motronx assists in submitting warranty claims but does not independently warranty third-party manufactured parts.
6. Warranty Exclusions
Warranty coverage is voided in cases of subsequent accidents, vehicle misuse/racing, repairs by unauthorized third parties after our service, or normal wear-and-tear of consumable items (engine oil, brake pads, filters).
7. Customer–Mechanic Communication & Liability
Motronx acts solely as a technology platform connecting customers with independent mechanics and service providers.
Once a booking is assigned, all repair work, service quality, timelines, pricing discussions, and technical recommendations are the responsibility of the assigned mechanic or service provider.
Where payments are made directly to the mechanic or service provider and not to Motronx, the mechanic or service provider shall be solely responsible for service execution, workmanship, warranty obligations, pricing disputes, refunds, and customer claims arising from such transactions.
Motronx will assist in resolving disputes only when all communication, approvals, payments, and service-related discussions are conducted through the Motronx platform or official support channels.
If a customer chooses to communicate, negotiate, approve additional work, make direct payments, or enter into separate arrangements with the mechanic outside of Motronx after the initial connection, Motronx shall not be responsible for any service issues, delays, workmanship defects, pricing disputes, warranty claims, damages, losses, or disagreements arising from such direct interactions.
By using the platform, customers acknowledge and agree that any direct engagement with a mechanic outside the Motronx-managed process is undertaken at their own risk.
