1. Introduction
Motronx respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. Motronx is a technology platform developed and operated by Edone Solutions. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your information across our website and mobile application.
2. Platform Ownership, Communication & Liability Disclaimer
Motronx is a technology platform developed and operated by Edone Solutions, a software development and technology services company. Edone Solutions is not a vehicle repair, servicing, maintenance, towing, or workshop operating company and does not directly perform mechanical repairs or maintenance services.
Motronx provides a digital platform that connects customers with independent mechanics, service providers, and partner workshops.
Motronx shall provide customer support, dispute resolution assistance, and service coordination only for bookings where payments are processed through the Motronx platform and all service-related communications, approvals, and transactions are conducted through Motronx's official channels.
If a customer chooses to communicate directly with a mechanic or service provider outside the Motronx platform, makes direct payments, negotiates pricing independently, approves additional work directly, or enters into any separate arrangement with a mechanic or service provider, such interactions shall be deemed outside the scope of Motronx services.
In such circumstances, the mechanic, workshop, or service provider shall be solely responsible for service quality, workmanship, warranties, pricing disputes, refunds, damages, delays, customer complaints, and all obligations arising from the service. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Motronx and Edone Solutions shall not be liable for any dispute, loss, damage, claim, or service-related issue arising from direct dealings between customers and mechanics or service providers outside the Motronx platform.
3. User Data Collection
We collect essential information to provide and optimize our services. This includes:
- Phone Numbers: For OTP authentication, booking updates, and mechanic coordination.
- Location Access: Using Google Maps to determine pickup/drop locations and track mechanic arrivals.
- Vehicle Details: Registration numbers and bike models to assign compatible spare parts.
- Media Uploads: Photos or videos uploaded for vehicle inspection or warranty claims.
4. Cookies & Analytics
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance user experience, store session preferences, and analyze platform traffic patterns.
5. Payment Handling & Security
All online payments are processed through secure, PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateways. Motronx and Edone Solutions do not store full credit card or banking details on our servers.
6. Third-Party Integrations
Necessary data is shared exclusively with trusted service partners, including assigned mechanics for order fulfillment, payment gateways for transaction processing, and analytics providers to improve application functionality.
7. Data Protection & User Consent
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We never sell personal data to third parties. By using the Motronx platform and logging in via OTP, you consent to data processing as described herein.
8. Customer–Mechanic Communication & Liability
Motronx acts solely as a technology platform connecting customers with independent mechanics and service providers.
Once a booking is assigned, all repair work, service quality, timelines, pricing discussions, and technical recommendations are the responsibility of the assigned mechanic or service provider.
Where payments are made directly to the mechanic or service provider and not to Motronx, the mechanic or service provider shall be solely responsible for service execution, workmanship, warranty obligations, pricing disputes, refunds, and customer claims arising from such transactions.
Motronx will assist in resolving disputes only when all communication, approvals, payments, and service-related discussions are conducted through the Motronx platform or official support channels.
If a customer chooses to communicate, negotiate, approve additional work, make direct payments, or enter into separate arrangements with the mechanic outside of Motronx after the initial connection, Motronx shall not be responsible for any service issues, delays, workmanship defects, pricing disputes, warranty claims, damages, losses, or disagreements arising from such direct interactions.
By using the platform, customers acknowledge and agree that any direct engagement with a mechanic outside the Motronx-managed process is undertaken at their own risk.
